PIANO- PIANOOO...

Solaariss is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and saxophonist from South London whose work weaves classical foundations, jazz sensibilities, and contemporary electronic textures into soulful, emotive soundscapes.

From a young age, Solaariss was immersed in music. Growing up in a home where his mother sang in church, he absorbed strong lessons in harmony and musical sensitivity. He first trained in classical music, playing cello in orchestras during his school years. Over time he gravitated to the saxophone, seeing in it the capacity for emotional expression and sonic flexibility. His classical background continues to underpin his approach—both technically and compositionally—even as he explores looser forms of jazz, electronic music, and genre hybridity.

A true instrumentalist, he is particularly known for his skillful saxophone performances. Solaariss’s sound is an amalgamation of deeply rooted afrobeat rhythms, classical undertones, and technical intricacies of jazz, all of which respectively reflect his cultural heritage, orchestral upbringing and immersion in London’s vibrant jazz scene. Solaariss’s vocal style is distinct and hard to compare, characterized by a laid-back, uncut tone that Brasstracks’ Ivan Jackson describes as “mysterious.” Solaariss’s unique rhythmic and melodic flow transforms his voice into a ‘second saxophone,’ adding an extra layer of depth and texture to his performances.

Managed by Young Future Co., Solaariss’s career trajectory has seen him perform at some of the most prestigious events and venues, such as Royal Albert Hall, The Great Escape, Wireless, BBC Introducing, Sofar Sounds, Boxpark, Nandos and more, whilst garnering deserved attention has also come from various platforms and publications including BBC Introducing, BBC 1 XTRA,  GUAP Mag, KISS FM, and Reprezent Radio.

Solaariss is not just a rising star but a transformative influence in the music scene, with a reputation that is both impressive and rapidly growing. His innovative and undeniable talent make him an artist to watch, poised to leave an indelible mark on the industry.
