Born & bred in Harlesden, Keys The Prince moved to Northolt at the age of 8 and has been residing there ever since. From a young age, Keys has always had a connection to music due to his family ties to the great African Musician Fela Kuti. The talented individual took up piano from a young age in order to channel his passion for music, which in turn gave birth to his name. Influenced by the likes of Kanye West, 2Pac, J Cole, Wretch 32, Nipsey Hussle and Chip, Keys quickly fell in love with storytelling rap which is prominent in all his songs. The UK based artist is committed to making meaningful music, giving listeners an insight into his vibrant, unique upbringing, unveiling a melting pot of rap, afro beats and R&B influences.
